Purpose:
This conference is designed for parents of children of all ages. We will begin our time together by discussing biblical foundations for marriage because a healthy marriage is foundational to faithful parenting.Then we will look at common missteps parents make and how to overcome them. We will then focus our attention on having gospel conversations with our kids before turning our attention to biblical discipline. We will conclude our time with an opportunity to ask our speaker any questions you have about parenting or marriage.
About our speaker:
Scott O’Malley is currently the Executive Director of Twelve Stones Ministries, and has been counseling there since 2007. He earned a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from the Master’s University in California. He has also been a licensed foster parent in the state of Indiana, a houseparent, and worked with over 400 troubled teens in 3 states. He has been married since 1992 to his wife Tara and they have 8 children, one of whom is adopted.
