Rick Gamache

Senior Pastor

Rick has been the pastor of Cornerstone since March, 2000. His passion is to advance the mission of the church through preaching and teaching the Word of God and so equip the saints for the work of ministry. Rick was born and raised in the Chicago area and moved to Minnesota to attend college. He graduated from Bethel Seminary and worked at DesiringGod before entering pastoral ministry. Rick loves baseball, music, film, literature, and being a husband, dad, papa, and pastor. Rick and his wife, Delaine, live in Burnsville and have five adult children, one son-in-law, one granddaughter, and two Aussiedoodles.

Justin Lakemacher

Pastor

Justin has been a member of Cornerstone since 2013. As a former heroin addict, Justin is passionate about the gospel and recovery. Since 2011 he has worked in the Christian rehab & recovery field helping men worship their way out of addiction. He is now Program Director and counselor at Redemption House, a gospel-centered addiction recovery ministry. Justin is also passionate about the local church. His love for the gospel, recovery, and church led him to begin a Christ-centered addiction recovery meeting at Cornerstone called Grace Abounds. Justin and his wife, Megan, live in Shakopee with their son, Ryland Calvin. Justin and Megan enjoy travel, hiking, reading, and music.

Brooks Szewczyk

Pastor

Brooks has been a member of Cornerstone since 2016. From a young age, he discerned a call to international church planting, and he has developed a love for biblical counseling along with it. He earned a Certificate in Bible & Missions from Bethany Global University, a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Spurgeon College, and a Master of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Brooks served for two years as a Pastoral Intern at our church plant in Waukee, IA – Redemption Hill Church. Brooks is husband to Hannah, and daddy to Silas Calvin and Jane Grey Elizabeth. He enjoys marketing, podcasting, writing, and soccer.
