What to Expect on Sundays
Here's what a typical Sunday morning looks like in 4 steps
Arrive
Kids Check-In
For parents who are interested, we would love to serve you by caring for your children in our children’s ministry, Cornerstone Kids. Children 2-years-old through 5th grade are dismissed to classrooms after worship in song. Nursery is available for the entire service. There is also a nursing mom’s lounge, and the service is streamed throughout the common areas.
The safety of your children is a priority to us. All children and parents are checked in at the beginning and end of every service. Additionally, we require all volunteers to go through background checks, and we provide additional training via MinistrySafe.
Singing & Preaching
Our music ranges from contemporary Christian to classic hymns. But our music style is merely a vehicle for the biblical truth we sing to God and one another.
Worship does not stop after the singing. Preaching is worship as the truth of God’s word is proclaimed and stirs affection in our hearts for Christ. We celebrate the ordinance of communion every Sunday. And Prayer Team members are available after every service.
Stick Around
We know that visiting a new church can be a bit overwhelming for some people. But we hope to make it less so. You’ll find that the saints of Cornerstone enjoy being together. So most folks are in no hurry to leave. We hope you stick around too. We’d love to meet you. And we have a small gift for you as a small token of our appreciation that you worshiped with us.
