Join us for worship this Sunday at 10:00 am.
Every Sunday morning it is our joy to gather together as the church in order to express our gratitude and profound love for our Savior, Jesus Christ, in a service we refer to as the “Sunday Celebration.”
Our Sunday Celebration provides the context where we encounter God together through the Word of God proclaimed in song, prayer, and preaching. We also gather to encourage one another, to stir up one another to love and good works, and participate in Spirit-empowered ministry with the body of Christ.
It would be a privilege and an honor to have you join us for our Sunday Celebration! We trust that God will meet you in a fresh way as we celebrate the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ together.
Here Are Some Frequently Asked Questions
What happens in the service?
The service is about 90 minutes. For the first half, we worship in song and then have a brief welcome and announcements. The second half consists of worshipful preaching from the Bible. After the close of the service, there is time for prayer and extended greetings.
As a guest, will you make me raise my hand or stand up during the service?
We do not ask our guests to identify themselves during the service. Our church culture is warm and welcoming, so we expect you will be greeted before and after the service by our members. If you would like to ask questions about the church or identify yourself as a visitor, we would invite you to our Welcome Center.
What should I wear?
At Cornerstone, we are serious about our Savior and his church, but that doesn’t mean you have to get dressed up. Most people at our services are dressed casually, even for holidays and particularly during the summer when some will come in shorts.
How do I get to your service?
You can find us at 500 East Travelers Trail, Burnsville, MN 55377.
Where do I park?
There is plenty of parking spaces in front or on the sides of the building.
When should I arrive?
Our Sunday Celebration begins at 10:00am. We would encourage you to arrive 10-15 minutes early to enjoy free coffee and refreshments at our café. If you have kids, you’ll want to arrive early to get them registered and checked into Cornerstone Kids.
Where do my kids go?
For parents who are interested, we would love to serve you by caring for your children in our children’s ministry, Cornerstone Kids. Children 2-years-old through 5th grade are dismissed to classrooms after worship in song. Though our post-COVID nursery is not up and running yet, we do have a nursing mom’s lounge, and the service is streamed throughout the common areas.
The safety of your children is a priority to us. All children and parents are checked in at the beginning and end of every service through an identification numbering system to ensure their safety. Additionally, we require all volunteers to be members in good standing, to go through mandatory background checks, and we provide additional training via MinistrySafe.
Who can I ask for help?
Our desire is to offer help and answer questions at our Welcome Center just inside the main entrance. There are also signs throughout the building to direct you to restrooms, children’s check-in, and the auditorium where the service is held.
What if I still have questions or would like to meet with a pastor?
