Jonathan recently returned to Minnesota from Kenya, where he served missionary families at Rift Valley Academy and taught Kenyan Bible students at Moffat Bible College. He is currently a Pastoral Resident at Cornerstone and is going through the ordination process with Sovereign Grace Churches. Jonathan has a passion to break the grip of false gospels in Kenya with the superior joy of the True Gospel, Jesus Christ. He hopes to return to Kenya in the Fall of 2024 to help plant Sovereign Grace Nairobi with a Kenyan pastor, Brian Kiama. He received his M.Div from Bethel Seminary in 2002. Jonathan and his wife, Lilli, live in NE Minneapolis, near all four of their children (the youngest two attend UNW in St. Paul) and one son-in-law.
